BUG: Shortcuts Break sometime.. After Reboot? / Using CarPlay?

Date: Recurring issue reported from February to May 2025.

Description: This is the most frequently reported bug. After restarting the iPhone or connecting/disconnecting from Apple CarPlay, shortcuts created with "Smooth Mode" stop working. Instead of opening the target app, clicking the widget opens the Smile app and gets stuck there.

Workaround: User elainerasnake found a temporary fix. Message 1367260140557828216:

"Hopefully this gets fixed up in the future but currently I found the quick fix of just removing the widgets and adding them back without having to uninstall everything and that seems to fix things up"

“…it doesn’t redirect me to the app until i set up the shortcut again. i suspect it happens more frequently when i use certain focus modes (driving/sleep/etc). iOS 18.5 beta 3 (will update tonight to beta 4 and report back)”
