Liquid Glass Styless
More Liquid Glass styles pleaseeeee if it is possible 🤠🤠🤠
Wallpaper
Can you pretty please make a wallpaper that blends into your widgets for a more seamless look? Thank you!
save me from my screen time
hello! would it be possible to have an app limit blocker where you choose for how much time between 5-20min you wanna go on the app ? i have tried it with other apps but it always ends up not working like the app is not blocked anymore. would very much appreciate it since this app is helping my dumbifying my phone.
Reminders / to do lists
It would be cool if an attachment / addon to the clock widget was the ability to have something scheduled. For example show like “meeting - starts in 30 minutes”
Option to turn off shortcut to base app
Currently, if I touch the empty space around widget shortcuts, it opens the Smile app. If my finger misses the shortcut I am trying to hit, I ideally want nothing to open, but that may not be what everyone wants. So it would be cool to have a setting in the app to turn that off.
Capitalisation of letters in app names
Don’t know if this is a feature request or a bug report, but when naming apps/shortcuts any capital letters after the first don’t seem to be displaying properly in the widget? So for example “BBC News” is displaying as “Bbc news” despite me checking and renaming it multiple times. Is this a feature that needs updating or am I just doing something wrong!?
A to do List
It would be great to have a to do list, same style as the regular thing. It has to be integrated as a widget too, so it’s on the homescreen
Folder
May be a Widget Limitation, but instead of clicking on an app in the widget you can click on a folder name, for example “School” and it opens to a new board of options for apps I put inside of it
Launch app bypassing smiles launcher
Blank spaces is currently able to launch apps without first opening the blank spaces app, can smiles launcher do this too so that we don’t have another app open in our task switcher. Thanks
Analogue Clock
I would really love if you can add a customisable analogue clock next to the current digital one.

Bugs?
Hey I found two bugs? A) when music is playing and I open an app sometimes the audio goes down? Especially in car play B) when i open an app through the widgets it messes with how screen time records app being open for some reason? Showing much longer hours than actually spent on there
UI/UX: Usage Limits and Launch Controls for Smooth Mode
I love the ability to have usage limits for apps as well as the launch controls feature that allows you to have a custom message. The only downside is no smooth mode with this feature. Smooth mode just feels much cleaner to use. If these functions could be incorporated together that would be awesome! Thank you
Randomize the position of apps
I think it would be useful to have a feature that randomizes the position of the apps in the widget, so that way you can’t really get used to the position of the apps, instead having to search for it by reading the apps, helping with the compulsion. (For example, many people open social media apps without even realizing, it’s a habit (or compulsion). They reach for the position of the app, it’s muscle memory. I think that the more steps you have to take to do the compulsion, the more you become aware of it and can avoid it.) By having the widget randomly place the apps, you are made aware of the compulsion by having to search for the app you were looking for. I think that’s useful for making the phone a tool, instead of a compulsion.
Clock widget
It would be a nice feature that if you tap the clock widget it opens either apple clock or apple calendar app
Draw Shadows
Would love an option to draw light and dark shadows around text. It helps with legibility against background images. Secondly, add a “center” position for large widgets in transparent background mode. As it is, the user has to play with positioning to get it to look right. Great app.
Add weather app shortcut for iphone and camera aswell
I’m a little surprised that the Camera and Weather app is not there for the shortcut can you add that for iPhone?
UI/UX: Confirmation Prompt Before Opening Apps
Category: UI/UX Improvement Requested by: alice_ok_ Date: April 10, 2025 Description: A user requested an optional "are you sure?" confirmation prompt before launching a specific app to add a layer of intentionality. Source: Message 1360000913766355055 "Is there a way to get like a "are you sure?"-message when opening a certain app using the smile-widget?" Notes: User conniestitution suggested this might be achievable via a custom Apple Shortcut.
UI/UX Improvements - Drag and drop between widget pages
Category: UI/UX Improvement Requested by: rx4000, varad_d__ Date: February 3, 2025 & March 12, 2025 Description: Users want the ability to drag and drop shortcuts/apps within the app to reorder them or move them between widgets, instead of having to delete and re-create them. Source (rx4000): Message 1336027339058057289 "You should let us drag shortcuts/apps between widget pages in the app, as of now you have to delete and make it anew to move it." Source (varad_d__): Message 1349484410965200917 "Anyway we can drag and drop app’s between widgets atm we can’t"
Feature: Reminders Widget / Other Widget Types
Category: Feature Request Requested by: notwaldorf, _rusti Date: April 18, 2025 & September 25, 2024 Description: Users would like to see other types of widgets beyond app launching, specifically a Reminders widget to display a to-do list, and potentially a digital clock or calculator. Source (notwaldorf): Message 1362896035097346059 "have you considered a reminders widget? I basically would like my minimalist screen to only be 1) a few app launchers 2) a list of things I have to do" Source (_rusti): Message 1288523899532738633 "maybe a couple of lightweight widgets? like a digital clock or a calculator"

Custom Background/Transparent Widget
I would like to use my own background. Other apps do this: You upload a screenshot of a blank home screen (no apps) and then the widget takes on a cropped version of the uploaded screenshot as a background. Thus the widget appears transparent
Feature: Age Rating lower than 17+
From ATLAS: - “Hello, Why is the app 17+? I would like to install it on a device with parental control but the age limit prevents me from it.”
Import personal fonts
Add character case option to appearence
It would be great to be able to change the case settings for all app shortcuts, with just one setting, instead of manually changing them one by one. Suggested variations: Sentence case lower case UPPER CASE Capitalized Case
Add empty widget by default
In order to keep the number of “swipes” to get to the iOS app library high - I always keep one widget empty so I can use it as “invisible” content for the homescreens and increase their number. This means I can use only 4 widgets for content. So either it would be great to add one “empty” widget by default or increase the number of widgets overall (not sure if there’s an external limit there, otherwise i see no reason to limit the number of customizable widgets?)
BUG: Shortcuts Break sometime.. After Reboot? / Using CarPlay?
Category: Bug Report Reported by: eternalmetaphor, bzzbzz1881, elainerasnake, berni_c., sree_17369, riotwhale, and others. Date: Recurring issue reported from February to May 2025. Description: This is the most frequently reported bug. After restarting the iPhone or connecting/disconnecting from Apple CarPlay, shortcuts created with "Smooth Mode" stop working. Instead of opening the target app, clicking the widget opens the Smile app and gets stuck there. Source (CarPlay): Message 1341428669343862947 "Hi - is anyone having the issue of the launcher not working when you connect to carplay?" Source (General): Message 1367133802601648208 "Hey. ik its not suggestions cant figure out where to put this. everything worked great for a few days. now all my shortcut apps are broken. help please" Workaround: User elainerasnake found a temporary fix. Message 1367260140557828216: "Hopefully this gets fixed up in the future but currently I found the quick fix of just removing the widgets and adding them back without having to uninstall everything and that seems to fix things up" Source (smile-app-launcher-support): Message from anthonykosenkov “…it doesn’t redirect me to the app until i set up the shortcut again. i suspect it happens more frequently when i use certain focus modes (driving/sleep/etc). iOS 18.5 beta 3 (will update tonight to beta 4 and report back)”
Add more app paths
The Apple phone and camera app ARENT app paths and I don’t like the shortcuts feature
Feature: Dynamic Light/Dark Mode for Widgets
Category: Feature Request Requested by: hayden_ngo, s.k.r.d, juanjuanjuan2704 Date: June 13, 2025 (and earlier) Description: Users have repeatedly requested that the widget's background and text color automatically change to match the system's light or dark mode settings. Source (Hayden): Message 1383203919051886603 "Hi, is it possible to change the background and text based on system light/dark mode? Thanks" Source (SKRD): Message 1372264814080036926 "*the other app I was using before had dynamic switching of the widget background for if the device was in light/dark mode. it'd be nice to add that." Notes: This is a highly requested feature, with multiple users seconding it.
Multiple Wallpapers
Would it be possible to get multiple transparent backgrounds für different widgets? I have multiple Wallpapers linked to different focuses and i would like the smile widget to adapt to these wallpapers. It would be best if that would go automatically, but just being able to set up different transparent backgrounds for the different wallpapers would be fine already. Thanks
Retaining previous state while tabbing out of the Smile app.
Whenever I am making my shortcuts, I am constantly back and forth between the shortcuts app and Smile, and one thing that irritates me is that when tabbing back to / going back to the Smile app, it takes me back to the default page (whereas, i would prefer to have stayed on the page i was on—customising and adding new shortcuts, for example).
